Today was no different then other days, I woke up at or around 10 (11.30 to be precise). Brush my teeth ,did … stuff and sat in front of my PC to do usual BC.

Then it happened,

I click the power button, but... no response, he was life less. I click again and again and again but no sign of life.

Holy shit! What m I gonna do? What m I gonna …

But, there was nothing left.

Suddenly, my room started looking like a graveyard to me. Every thing was looking dull, down, lifeless and I donno … some adjective …!!

I was thinking of cleaning my room but couldn’t, had to arrange my wardrobe but didn’t.
Had to finish project also, but all files were on the Hard Disk.

It’s funny how lifeless things dissemble your life. Man is under the false impression that he’s ruling the word with gadgets. Actually these gadgets are ruling him.

All of us are addict to some thing, viz. sutta, daaro, cricket, football … just name one.

But one addiction is common among all of us, (all IIITians at least) n i.e. computer(internet).

Now what…
Well!! Till my PC gets well, I’ll hang out with the lab PC.

2. Have been super vella last two days.

3. F**king cold is not leaving me. Why my body is celebrating Christmas at the peak of summer.

I had never been a famous guy in school, not very studious either. Were never a good player and I don’t remember, me winning any recognizable prize, other than some drawing or fancy dress (:D) competition. I use to envy those topper guys and gals, use to wonder, how they manage to get so good marks and perform on stage etc etc etc …

I never touched the 90% figure, even crossed 80% twice in my whole school life. All in all, an average student (yah!! That what people use to call me). Never regretted me being an average, coz there were guys who use to fail in class, at lest I was not one of them :D.

Just before coming to IIIT, I won my first prize in a city level competition, unfortunately wasn’t there to receive it :( (was @ IIIT).

Some how, I managed to take admission here. And first time I regretted that why I was not a 90+. Almost every one here was topper of their school. At the time of healthy interaction, some seniors made fun of my “academic achievements”. They said I won’t survive here. Well!! They were more experienced then me, I was worried, I was so sure that I won’t be able to clear the first sem. But by the grace of almighty, I got through the first sem, apparently with OK grade.

But the average tag didn’t leave me here, still I m average here, and I don’t regret being the one.

PS :-

Some days are not yours, well!! 2^nd of April, was such a day for me.

Mamu said I have to give presentation before end sem (Aarrgh!!).
Got f****d really bad in Interhouse Antakshari (I was suppose to good at this one thing at least).
Messed up my solo dance (prelims went better then finals).
some blah blah reasons …

But who cares, at least I made a debut in solo competition, on the stage.

2. Exams from 9th, don't know the syllabus yet (A typical IIITian).

3. This is my 49th(published) post ..... 50th will be a bye bye blogger.com post .

4. There are many drafts which never got public. Before I leave IIIT, they may get lucky.

Disclaimer: - This bunch of words is what I feel. I don’t expect other to understand it. Or as I said in my previous post, I don’t give a crap.

It has been 1 and a half year since I started blogging. I remember the first day when I wrote my first post. I accept it was a piece of shit. But I was so excited (yah ! yah !!) that I send the link of my blog to my first yr friends. Hoping few words of appreciation (Ankit u ass!!). Well after reading the comments … I quit blogging. They were rite … I suck at English.

Well!! When I came to the institute, I landed in group 6 after the English test. I wanted to improve my language skills some how. I heard from people that writing improve your command on language then reading. And any ways, I was never friends with books. So thought of blogging, but idea dabbe main.

Hmm... well then!! till second year second sem I didn’t try to type blogger.com in my address bar!! But I use to check IIIT Blogroll daily. Till this time I didn’t think bout of blogging again, till Raghuram asked me to start writing. Few days after, I ultimately wrote a post but to be on a safer side that post consist of only pics, added my self to IIIT’s blogroll (yhee !!). And to my surprise, I actually got some positive comment. (Actually they were non-negative :D).

Any ways, that build my confidence and I wrote another post, this time in hindi (no need to mention why ?) :D. Well!! People were reading my posts and few where kind enough to leave their mark. Then I wrote a post in English (exactly after 1 year of my first post.). Well!! No comments this time, but the good thing is no comments (i.e. no negative comments)

Once I wrote a post on the formula for calculation of job package. It was buzzed in IIIT blogroll. It may not seem like a big achievement, but it was, for me at least.

Then, I wrote so many posts on various topics. Most of my posts were witty and sarcastic and some alag hatke. But was never dare enough to write bout my self, the part people don’t know. The part I usually don’t discuss with others.

Read posts of many guys who discuss what ever they feel, so honestly and openly. Since I m so close to my 50^th post, I thought even I should.(Going to leave blogger,com after that)

PS:-

I m not blaming any one, just doing Airtel (Express myself!!).

Please don’t mistake it to a success story (like GURU). :p

Yah !! Yet another post on felicity. you guys must be bored… who care any ways :D !! I’ll continue ……

One important part of cultural events has been completely ignored by the blogger. I can’t blame them, they weren’t involved in it. So being a blogger and one of the organizers of Kalakshetra, it is my moral responsibility to let people know bout it.

This time we decided….

By we I ment (Akash , Abhay , Yashlakshmi , Geetika , Bajpai , Chauhan , Swati , Sheetal n your’s truly me :) )

Yah !! so, we decided that, we are not going to have same old matkas and gamlas. Theme we decided was Hyderabad (hope we were successful in depicting).

After lots n lots of brain storming sessions, we came up with and idea to get a charminar, the darbar look, pehredars, kites, organizers dressed up in typical hyderabadi istyle… etc etc

Well some of the ideas were dropped, and rest some of you must have seen at the Kalakshetra ground.

Kalakshetra had all in all 7 events…

bold strokes (sketching)
Ad-campaign (poster making)
Rangbhoomi (rangoli)
Ctrl-X Ctrl-V (collage)
Graffiti (its in the name)
Reflectionz (face painting)
you think it, I ink it (tattoo making)

Graffiti was one of the most hyped events of felicity, and I guess it was the costliest event in its prize range.

Getting the spray cans was a Herculean task. After searching in Hyderabad, we even tried in other cities including delhi, Mumbai , banglore. There was a time that we were even thinking of canceling the event. But thanks to akash n abay they some how managed to get the spray cans, they also met an accident, any ways, all the stuff for Kalakshetra were bought by them.

Getting charminar build wasn’t a cup of cake. With Mr. Vasudaven help, we came in contact with a guy (Mr. prasaad ) from HCU. Who was going to build the charminar for us, initially geetika was handling that. But after she left for her home, I took the charge… Man !! getting work done from those guys…

Any ways some how charminar got completed little late …: D but work was done.

Then event started according to IST (Indian standard time (1hr late)).. But we got awesome response. We had 40 working benches and almost all were occupied. In some events like collage making and graffiti we even had to stop the registration because of limited resources.

Now time to mention some name who helped us to make the event success…

PS… After a lot of hardship my dream to perform on felicity stage came true.

PS… One suggestion for others, never organize a group dance event, just be a part of it.

PS… Wanted to write more, but got to finish 3 assignments and 2 projects :(.

Well now, I don’t I have any other option then spamming the ug n pg mail boxes.

I had to make a decision, after a long brain storming session I finally made one. It was tough though, but in the fight of music and health, health won. Yah !! I bought a Bicycle.

Hope I’ll stick to my daily cycling routine.

PS :-

Finally my passport form has been accepted; hope no more problems are stacked.
Drove Bicycle all the way from koti to institute, not legs but butt is paining.
Have to submit CN assignment on 1^st Feb, Don’t even know the a,b,c of socket programming…
Don’t have much time to write, got to complete the presentation for BTP.

Reality show, are they actually real!!

Every TV channel is flooded with various Reality shows, the new raah of sucking money out of customers. which is also the name of a reality show. I guess the saas bahu stuff is loosing it magnetic strength of attraction human beings towards the idiot Box. The theme of these shows is same, cashing the emotions weather its real or mere acting. If there are “normal human beings” then it’s good and if there are celebrities then, awesome. Recently I saw one series, some Big Boss or some thing. Bahhh !! same funda of saas bahu type. What reality, I bet they are acting. Same conspiracies, making teams n same old family drama stuff. I was surprised to see people desperately waiting for its telecast every day on the other hand they say they hate all those Saas Bahu melodrama. Ironically, these types of serials are at the top of charts and making hell lot of money.

Bahh!! I m bad at this essay type writing. Well! My mentor suggested me to start writing something in “Proper English”. Some thing, with minimum wit and humor. Anyways, this is my first try. I know normally people write pages, then just a mere paragraph. But … what the hell …

Yesterday, i noticed that I have been using "What the Hell" a lot in my blogs. Actually these three simple words are very versatile. U can use them where ever u doesn’t want to give a reason. :D !!

This year’s placement is going pretty well, most of the guys have got their dream job. This time IIIT may cross 5 lac average … who knows!!

While going through new placement website, I came across this page , which states …..

Future Initiatives

Listed below are some of the proposed initiatives for the placement season 2008:

Post academic year placement season
Common Placement Test (CPT)
10-to-15-day placement season (a very brief placement season, unlike in current and past years)
Mini career fairs each day (= this means around 10 employers each day)
There would not be dream and non dream classification of recruiters; all recruiters would be treated on par
Students would be allowed two offers each

This is the topic our batch has been talking bout past few weeks.

Well !! here is my analysis of the proposed policy ... after all its going to decide our future ...

· Post academic year placement season

Merit: - may reduce the competitor, specially, who got selected in CAT n MS some where …

Demerit: - Don’t leave much time for off campus if one didn’t get his dream job.

Also may result in loss of 1-2 month pay

Common Placement Test (CPT)

Merit: - May reduce the number of exams a student has to go through.

Demerits: - there is a proverb in hindi – “har din diwali nahi hoti” , i.e. every day can’t be yours, if under some circumstances a person couldn’t perform well that day … his future is ruined.

Also, the syllabus n all is very different not only of ECE n CSE.. But of VLSI, Communication, CVIT, DBMS n all … if there will be a separate test for each of this stream then what if one wish to sit for the company of other stream …. Or does one have to give all the exams …

10-to-15-day placement season (a very brief placement season, unlike in current and past years)

Merit: - 45 days tension is reduced to 15 days...

Demerit: - During the 45 day session, at max 10-15 days a company come for a guy of a particular stream. So his tension is of maximum 10-15 days.

Once the interview is over his tension is over. But if we shrink it to 15 days then he’ll be stressed for the whole day may be... Or if each day has one company then, we had come back to the same figure of 15 days...

If all of this is about reducing the stress a student go through. Then what bout the tension he’ll have till the placement session starts … when all of his friends have got placed at other institutes, while he is still waiting for his ….

There would not be dream and non dream classification of recruiters; all recruiters would be treated on par
Students would be allowed two offers each

Merit: - I didn’t find any advantage in it.

Demerit: - well!! Previous rule was, one person can take 1 dream job and one 1 normal one...

Now suppose a guy has already got a dream job, n he managed to get another. Now, this has reduced the opportunity for other to get that dream job… and hence he has to satisfy him self with a normal one...

And I am sure that there is 100% possibility of happening this… All in all ……… for an average student …

Well this analysis is solely based on my knowledge, and only the provided article, I don’t know if there is further modification to it, correct me if I m wrong any where …

i know it's little late for a post bout microsoft party .. but I wasn't at the institute past 2 days ... anyways i got the chance to be there courtesy our seniors @ Microsoft .....

The party started with boring fatte of some guy , Jimmi Moses i guess .

Well it all starts with a wake up call from chauhan. He commanded me to cancel my dinner (it was canceled though)

So, cutting long story short we went to pizza hut. I had great time n 10 pieces of pizza , thanks to our sponsors turbo , harry n saini.

Ya! I forgot to mention one thing, saw one of my frnd’s … there with some other guy. Ch ch ch poor man …. (not my frnd the other guy :p)

Some of our seniors were also there … I mean the first year alumni. Well they were enjoying with there old buddies so, we chose not to interrupt.

They are Office dudes now. But one thing I noticed that some of them have put on weight. I mean they were looking healthy as compared to how they were at IIIT.

What does this implies?

@nks theory says:- IIIT suck you blood more then the boss of you company.

He he he !!Hey, I got distracted from the main path.

So, what I was saying … ya !! well, we had dinner. Akash, reminded us about the dandiya n garba thing.

We thought, actually me n akash though that we’ll finish this fast and then will leave to IIIT.

But, reverse happned … :(

We managed to reach IIIT at 10:30 PM. Guys n gals were dancing on some panjabi number.

And some thing worse happned , I was there standing under the basket holding my stomach n cursing my self for having 1 extra piece.

But even pain couldn’t prevent me from dancing when I saw dancing divas with dandiyas.

Last line went little too mendaciously.

Actually my ache was temporary, n vanished after some time.

So, me n akash entered the crowed, n started throwing our hand n lags in random direction.

But the best part came at the end, when I played dandiya.

This is the place where I should mention that ….

I m very thankful to Sugandh n his team for organizing dandiya and garaba night. It was awesome…

And thanks to pinky for teaching me some steps. :)

And in the final concentric-bi-circular dance, I got chance to dance with my dream …… :-“>.

Don’t ask me who is she…… !! keep guessing though :p !!

As Jivan Vidhya is been made compulsory for the incoming students to IIIT. I think there should also be an oath taking ceremony for them after completion of course. So, I thought of some important points n wrote them down. If u guyz have any more then plz plz …. plz plz plz comment them!!

So , here it goes :

I, Champak Lal Bhumiya solemnly pledge myself to consecrate my 4 years to IIIT.

I’ll respect all of my respected teachers, will not!! Definitely not!! Imitate them!!
I’ll do all my assignments by myself n will never type SCP on keyboard again n always avoid group “teeping “.
I’ll never mess with the mess guy!! Sorry Aunty!! Even if they serve me, half backed flour instead of chapatti n some semi solid yellowish thing instead of curry.

I guess many human beings had already presented their views bout it. Here is my point of view, about ragging issue:

I hope u guys have got my point. ( samjhne vale samajh gaye hain jo na samjhe vo DISCO hai ). I too feel, the measure taken by the management, bout this ragging issue are much worse than their sin (if it’s called so).

Here is the story of our khichari(actually was tehri or can say pulao). As any usual day, me, kesar, chauhan n bajpai were having Yuktahar. Food was okish(tell u the truth, we were eating coz we had paid the money ). Anyways, we saw some of our great seniors making rotis, and then some of the gals from our batch also joined in. The young blood in our body also jumped, we should also do something. Then chauhan forced me to go to vinayak ji n ask him if we can help n I did. And, we end up with a promise of coming next day n making khichari.

So, breaking thy habit, I woke up at 10.00 n made sure that all others are on the planet, took shower, got dressed & left exactly at 11.00. The three crooks, oops sorry, the three cooks, on our mission, arrived at the war land. There were lots of vegetables and other stuff to fight against us. But knifes were on our side. Then the war started, we all fought bravely, cutting each n every rotten part of vegetables, we cleared our way to presser cooker. But we were weak coz there were no spices on our side. We had just salt, red chili & turmeric powder, rest all already left (u know what I mean). But we didn’t loose hope n continue fighting. After putting the remains of vegetables in cooker we closed the top & did same to the rice after some time.

But the war wasn’t over then, coz we had to feed the civilians. We waited for rice to get cooked, n we waited n waited ….., but nothing happed , centuries passed but nothing happened ( we broke the record of Birbal anyways), people were starving to death. Then vinayak ji rose from the background with a bigger stove with him. Bingo, we creaked the nut.

When pulao was about to serve, I was kinda worried. What if the vegetables haven’t died? What if they had poisoned the rice? But god is great every one liked our pulao.

And hence great great @nks had once again saved the day ( with the help of his frnz !!).

ass-ingments !!

Using short terms for long words isn’t a new habit. So is the case with IIIT guyz. But some times it creates such n amusing situation that you can’t hold your laugh. I thought of writing this blog long before. But didn’t have that much gut to use, some should not kind of words. But some force inside me telling me that people need to know the truth. It is my duty to serve my nation by revealing all the hidden truth and dark secretes in the chest of weirdo’s mind. Ok I won’t bore you any longer, going straight to the incident.

In first year we guys use to get a lot of assignments, specially “C”. Normally 90% of the batch made folder named ass1, ass2, …. for saving assignments in 205. The thing I want to convey is ass was short form for assignment.

So, there’s my friend (cant use name, security purpose J ) say Mr. Y . He has done the assignment with a little golmaal(SCP n stuff – u know). So, when he showed his assignment to one tutor say Mr. Z, he caught him n refused to accept his assignment. Now, Mr. Y, totally frustrated writes a mail to other tutor (who has a soft corner for him) telling bout what has happened to him. See what he wrote.

Dear Sir,

I was wondering if you could help out of this problem. Actually, yesterday I showed my ass to Mr. Z. After examining it, I don’t know why, but he refused to accept it. He was claming that the ass wasn’t mine. But, I swear, that ass was mine, I didn’t even have a look at other’s ass. He was saying that I will not get marks for my ass in future.

Please help me out with it. I am ready to show my ass to any one. I can prove that this ass is mine. I didn’t take anyone else’s.

Robocamp: my comments on volunteers !!

So, finally it's over. Ya, I m talking about Robocamp.

After 4 fussy days, here I m ultimately sitting on my chair n writing this ie. my comments on all the volunteers involved in the workshop.

Kriti Garg : I think without her this workshop wouldn’t be possible. I use to think that every one in the world has a threshold of doing work. After crossing that limit every one goes mad. But I think god has forgotten to set that threshold limit for her. I have always seen her working, with a smile on her face.

Saini : He was most appreciated guy during the whole workshop, n he deserves that. You should have listened to the clap when his name was called upon the stage for certificate.

Sugandha : This guy took care of every stuff (specially gals ;) – according to one feedback we got). If Kirti was brain he was cerebral cortex of administrative volunteers because if anything is to be done, there are two names to be called either Kirti or Sugandh.

G Anand : The microcontroller champ. This guy has a lot of stamina to listen to the weird ideas of groups’ n them making program for it. If he wouldn’t be they I guess half the projects couldn’t have worked.

Aziz : you can interpret his dedication by knowing the fact that he met an accident a day or two before and sow him still working today with a bandage on his hand.

KTN : who patiently listened to the problems n solved then out (found on feedback wall).

And also he was taking care of all the non-male tyros of robotics (he he he !! competition to sugandh).

And also I should not forget the contribution of vidhyasagar (for media coverage) n jagpreet. Because of these five(kirti, vidyasagar, jagpreet, sugandh, aziz), everything went so smoothly.

And our friends rishi , ankul and ankur they did a great job, they all were so dedicate to there work. Specially handa, he came for the workshop even he was sick.

Because of the efforts of all of these guys (and me :D) n people I forgot to mention, this workshop became a huge success.

Ps: All those who applied for voulnteership n didn't come are not going to get their T'shits >:p .

seriously there where doulble the people enrolled. but at the time of work they just vanished. Is this is what we are here for ?

I m preparing the small report of the workshop will be up by tonight :D.

Today! After 4 months of hard work, we finally made Handa to give us treat. Everything was going well; we had awesome dinner at olive garden with soothing view ;-). Except some minor incidents but that doesn’t matter. And we got 10% discount also!! But, as we came out, a tiny water droplet landed on my cheek. “Hmm.. so its going to rain” I said.

I wish time have stopped at that moment. Coz, just after I finished my sentence Akash made a wish that he wants to see flood once in his life. I didn’t remember the actual words he said, but who cares. The important thing is his wish came true.

Well, some how we managed to get an auto (Getting an auto back to Gachibowli at 10+ and that on a rainy day … oops I mean night, is like getting water in the middle of sahara). We thought our problems are solved but it was the beginning. So we four cursed guys – me, chauhan, keser n handa choose an auto with broken wiper n was been driven by a Telgu guy who doesn’t understand Hindi or English. U might ask why the hack we took such vehicle, well it was night so we didn’t see the wiper (like we check it always), and then money talk is the only language which every one understand, so we didn’t recognize his unawareness of Hindi n also we were in hurry yaar!!.

Then we were on the road, every thing was clear but the front glass of auto. The road view was so blurred that street light and vehicle’s head light were looking no different. And our great great auto vale bhaiya was driving with speed of light (Note:- its just an expression, no one can drive with speed of light because it will break Einstein’s law, and I don’t want be accused of breaking any thing :p) hmm.. where was I, ya! in the auto. Well as I told you we were not able to communicate with that guy, so we were just praying that we could reach our hostel safely, so that we can see face of our beloved Mr. BLN again :p.

So here came, kondapur half of this nightmare is over. Hey rewind rewind rewind !! I guess I forgot some thing. Haan… I saved keser’s head, how may time do I have to tell these kids don’t hang your head out of moving vehicle, its really dangerous, (someone might get hurt if your head hit that poor guy :p) you might not be able to were cap, goggles n all other stuff’s! rite , so be care full next time. Anyways I pulled him in, and pushed chauhan out :D! but that’s a different matter.

Annn… where did I left? Ya! We crossed kondapur n were heading towards out ultimate destination! The way was no cushy. But we were fighting with the winds na na na … storm aaannnn no no no ya cyclones, n were facing the arrows falling from the sky. Every one was tired, they were loosing there strength, handa was about to fall. “Buck up solider ! you r not going to fall, not now not today” I said. And then I came into the form, n took command from that moron driver. And after fighting with lots of troubles, I finally managed to save all of us! Then every one said in one voice: - “ gr8 gr8 @nks has did it again, he saved the day… oops I mean night”

I guess last paragraph went little filmy, well we arrived safely, I missed my meeting, we went to the terrace enjoyed rain and now here I am sneezing, n rubbing my nose. And sitting in front of my pc doing nothing more than wasting my time writing this crap :D.

Well I remember few witty comments of chauhan , forgot to mention :-

yaar hande!! Yhe to kaise treat di humko, hum to thik hai, but bhagvan ka pet kharab ho gaya.
Hmm.. ab main itna bheeg chukka hoon ki hostel jaa ke do hi cheez mujhe bacha sakti hai ya to daaro ya paaro (yhe comment mere dwara edit ker diya gaya hai is main paroo ki jagah haamare chahete …… ka naam tha :p)!!

I have just few question for all those who are really willing to do some thing to make government drop its idea of reservation in premier institutes …

Do you really think that signing online petition is enough from your side?
Do you think our government does care about such thing?
Don’t you think we should do some thing to show those morons that we do care about what they are doing to country and specially our future?
Don’t you think sitting in our room and giving exercise to our fingers is not enough?
Don’t you think silently accepting this would be a great loss for us n our lots of deserving students out there who are waiting for their chance?
Don’t you think that we should show them that we are not sleeping?
Don't you think that we should not let them play their dirty politics with our futurte?

I guess its time for us to join that revolution, before its too late ….

First encounter with the world!!!

In hindu puranas(“Garunprana” to be more precise) it is mentioned that a baby before being born remembers about his previous life, n talks to god on daily basis.

So, I just thought of narrating his first encounter with the world! Enjoy!!!

“Eeehh!! Whose there? Who’s bugging me at this time of day or night, whatever? It’s time for a short nap. Hey! Come on! Stop pushing me. I am not in a queue for cinema tickets. Stop it! Will you.”

God’s voice, “It’s time son!”

“Time! Time for what?”

God, “Time for you to go out and see the world.”

“aannn! But I don’t want to.”

God, “you have to go.”

“Hey God! Please, don’t do this to me. Hey! Listen, hello! Hello! ….. ohhww baby!”

“ok, ok, ok! Easy mister, careful! Hey, hey, hey! Don’t push so hard! My legs are delicate. You know!

Wow! What is that? Is it white light? Haven’t seen this color since nine months, correct me if I m wrong. It’s too bright. Hey! Does someone have goggles? I am not use this much brightness, you know! “Ray ban” will do? Hey is any one listening to me.

Confused!! As I was and will always be. After busting my ass for three day, finally I managed to get a project under Dr. M. B. S. Can u believe it, having hard time to get project under him. It’s “hardware implementation of Digital Down Converter using Verilog”. Sounds grievous, hunn? To me at least, it does.
Anyways, I got the project but don’t know, whether I’ll be able to complete it or not. It looks more close to Communication rather than VLSI. I may be wrong, but still. Akash had succeeded in his attempts to convince me that it’s more of VLSI then communication. But still I have doubts in my mind.
There’s a proverb in hind “okhli main sar diya hia to moosal se kya derna”. Let’s see how this step turns out.
Few lines which Sica forces me to listen all the time are now making sense to me.
“Be yourself is all that you can do!!”

So, being my self, doing what is up to my limitations and hoping for the best!!

It’s good to see someone write about your post, n that in IIIT Buzz. I saw comment and thought of clarify the doubts in this post.

Fist of all in the equation

Package = f(CGPA, knowledge, personality) + g(CGPA, luck, time) + c

“f” is a linear function. But the coefficient of the variables varies form company to company. And its non-causal, because this function is solely depend on the person concern.
“g” is a random process as I mentioned , or else we can say it’s a non-linear n causal function its value could be negative or positive.
“c” is same as before.

About Heisenberg's Uncertainty principle:
Its states that "The more precisely the POSITION is determined, the less precisely the MOMENTUM is known"

Here we can apply it on “g” as:
The more the value of luck affect the value of g, the less the value of CGPA, and the vice versa.

It is not an uncertainty in determining the value of “g” but the uncertainty in the effect of those two variables on the equation.

Now about the comments

@ ak_84:- your comment was sort of favoring my equation.
But about time, I think it counts, because as time passes the economical environment, the number of job offers, the policies of company changes. And there r lots of factors which directly or indirectly affect the package depend on time.

@ halley:-as u said that attitude should be included as an independent variable. Actually “f” here is linear function of personality and attitude is sort of variable of personality ,

f= x*personality + y*f(CGPA, knowledge)

Where , personality = a*Attitude + b*p(other variables)

ð f = x*a*Attitude + x*b*p(other variables) + y*f(CGPA, Knowledge)

hence , package is indirectly a direct function of Attitude.

I guess all the questions are been answered, any further quarries will be welcomed.

This is too much for me. Three posts in the same day.
Actually, the comment of Mr. Cipher forced me to write it.

He mentioned an equation:

Package = F[CGPA]

Where F is a random process. But he forgot to include one most important variable i.e. time, which should always be present in a random process.

neways , he unintentionally suggested me , a good toic to write on..

So, here is my equation of offered package:

Package = f(CGPA, knowledge, personality) + g(CGPA, luck, time) + c

Where,

CGPA- u know

Knowledge - knowledge of stuff

Personality – ur physical appearance , ur communication skills etc .

f- is a function with all these 3 variable , m working on the exact equation using past yrs figures.

g- is a random variable , which changes with time n luck.

c- is a constant which is added buy the institutes prestige (u can say it is the threshold of job package)say some 2 lac

in “f“ the share of CGPA is about 15%

the share of Knowledge is 55 %

the share of Personality is 30%

where as in “g” share of CGPA decrease as the luck increases

but totally random as time increases or decrease

Have u ever seen a ribbon, must have, so think about an infinitely long ribbon. There are infinite many such ribbons. Swinging in different direction, but mind it “not random”.
Take these ribbons as a plane path. Like a bridge without any support, got it! Now try to recall your geometry lessons. Here I m showing new definition of some terms:-

Point – a newly born child.
Line – living being (female can be extend from both side , both ends r same)
Ray – living being (male can be extend from one side only , ends r different)
Length of line – present age of the being
Path – life of being
Width of path – max length of line

Birth of point:-
Let me start it from the birth of the point (Let me mention here that I’ll use the geometrical interpretation only). Every one knows that when two lines intersect they generate a point. But here no two lines intersect only a ray n a line can intersect. How will this happen? The answer is, only when the paths intersect, and like the opposite poles attract, opposite paths (paths with line n ray) will intersect only. Intersection of path give rise to a new path which is merely random (random in the sense for line or ray) this will decide the future of the point generated, whether I’ll grow into a line or a ray.

Development of point:-
As I mentioned before the growth of point will be decided buy its path. So as the time passes the point will move forward in its path. This motion is random, either incautious or wise. But as the length of line (or ray) increase the random ness decreases. It hits the wall of its path many times, but then continues moving. The other paths also affect its motion, how? That I’ll discuss later.

Death of the line (or ray):-
When the length of a line (or ray) becomes comparable to the width of path. It starts getting stuck sometime, during its motion. And then when the length become exactly same then during its motion it’ll get stuck there forever. This stops the growth of the line (or ray).

There r lots of attributes of this theory to be explained. But due to time shortage. I m stopping here, will explain them in next post. Please write in your comments, it would be of great help for me.

m not use to write blogs !! but somethin inside me is forcin me to write one .

u must hav read the placement reprot of dis year , by gautam . it is the first time i saw de xact figures wid CG . n its quit relieving tht many guyz got better job then the da person havin better CG then them.

i use think , tht CG is to differentiate between the smart n less smart ppl . but, i was so wrong, its true tht best CG got best job . but its not a linear relation ship .

i was pissed off last night , because of my ADC marks . i was thinkin tht m good for nothin , but thanx to gautam ,

this remind me one thing wht handa said tht study for knowledge , not for CG . may be his philosophical thoughts hav weigth. neways i wont bore u nemore , so if ne first yrs r readin this then one sandesh for them-
i hav no tips to convey , coz m still watin for mine :p, so just study , njoy - 30:70, coz these day will make ur golden memories ...
for da ppl who hav less CG - remember CG dosent metter :)
